Privacy policy: no accounts, no cookies for counting

We run no accounts and no ad trackers, and we do not sell data. Button views and clicks are counted as daily totals with no IP address, cookie or user ID, while your 18+ choice, Hot list and watched marks stay on your own device. Effective October 22, 2026.

What is the short version of this privacy policy?

We collect almost nothing about you, and what we do count cannot be linked to an individual. This policy applies to candy-porn-shorts.com, an independent fan guide to Candy Shorts. It does not cover candy.ai or candyshorts.com, which are run by EverAI Limited and have their own privacy rules. Here is the whole picture on one screen.

Everything else in this policy explains those rows. If something is not in the table, we do not collect it.

Which personal data do we actually hold?

Only two kinds: whatever you choose to email us, and the ordinary access logs that any web server writes. We have no accounts, no sign-up form, no comment box, no newsletter form and no upload feature, so there is no profile to hold. Nothing on the site asks for your name, your email address or your location, and the 18+ notice asks for nothing more than a yes.

The rest of what the site remembers sits in your browser, where we cannot read it. It gets there because you pressed a button, and it goes when you clear your site data. Both are explained below, with the exact names of each item so that you can find and delete them.

How does cookieless counting of button views and clicks work?

Each time a button is seen or pressed, the site adds one to a daily counter. The counter is a row of numbers, not a record of a visitor. We use these totals to learn which pages send readers to the official service, which positions work and which wording reads clearly, and to reconcile our own numbers with what Candy AI reports on its side.

Here is every field in a row:

  • The day, by calendar date in UTC. No clock time is stored.
  • The page the button sits on, as an internal page number.
  • The series the button is about, as an internal number, or zero when the button is not tied to one series.
  • The position: a short label such as the top of the page, an inline slot or the comparison table.
  • The wording that button showed, so we can compare versions of the text.
  • The type, either a view or a click.
  • The count, which rises by one each time.

That is all. We do not store your IP address, a cookie, a user ID, a device fingerprint, your browser type, your screen size or your country alongside these rows. Two readers who press the same button on the same day leave one shared total that nobody can pull apart again. We treat these totals as anonymous statistics.

A view is counted when a button is mostly visible on screen, and menu and tab-bar buttons are skipped. The page batches views and sends them when you leave it or switch to another tab. A click is sent at the moment you press. The page sends them with your browser's beacon feature as a tiny background request. If you block scripts, nothing is counted, and the pages still read normally.

What does the site keep on your device?

Four small items live in your own browser storage, and cookies are not involved. They exist so that the site can remember a choice without asking you to create an account.

  • The 18+ choice. Once you accept the arrival notice, the browser stores a single yes in localStorage so the notice does not return on every page. We do not check or record who pressed it.
  • The Hot list. When you flag a series, its internal number goes onto a list in localStorage. On the home page, a For You shelf uses that list to suggest more series, and the matching happens in your browser.
  • Watched marks. When you press a watch button tied to a series, its number is added to a second list. It means you clicked through, not that you finished anything, and it only serves to keep that series out of your suggestions.
  • The wording pick. A random choice between a few versions of button text, held in sessionStorage so that the wording stays steady while you browse. It vanishes when you close the tab.

We never receive the Hot list or the watched marks. They are not attached to the counting rows above, and no other reader sees them. To erase them, clear the site data for candy-porn-shorts.com in your browser settings, or use a private window next time. Clearing the data also brings the 18+ notice back. If your browser blocks storage entirely, the site still works, you just lose the Hot list.

Why does the button wording change between visits?

We test wording. A watch button might read "Watch episode 1 free" in one tab and "Episode 1 is on us" in another, and a Spicy button has its own set of lines. Your browser picks one at random when you first meet that kind of button and keeps it until the tab closes.

Which version a button showed is saved in the counting row described above, nowhere else. Nothing about you is used to choose the wording, so nobody is profiled or shown a different offer because of who they are, and the price you pay at Candy AI is never affected. This is the entire test. We read the totals to find which phrasing is clearer and then keep that one.

Do we use cookies, ad networks or third-party scripts?

No to all three. Counting works without cookies, and we run no advertising network, social media pixel, tag manager or third-party analytics. The scripts, fonts, posters, stills and preview loops on our pages are hosted on our own site, so your browser does not contact outside companies just to render them. The only people who receive a login cookie are the editors who sign in to maintain the site.

The links on a page are another matter. Pressing one takes you away to candy.ai, candyshorts.com or occasionally the Candy AI help center, and those sites may set their own cookies. We do not control that, and the terms of use explain where our responsibility ends.

What do server logs record, and who can see them?

Our hosting provider keeps ordinary web-server logs, and those logs do contain IP addresses. A typical line shows the visitor's IP address, a timestamp, the address requested, the status code, the browser's identification string and the referring page if the browser supplies it. Every website on the internet produces records like this. It also happens for the background request that carries our counters, because it is a request like any other, even though our counting table never reads or stores the address.

The provider and the site's administrators use the logs for security, abuse prevention and fixing faults. We never turn them into reader profiles, and we never join them to the counting totals, the Hot list or anything else. Raw logs stay for as long as the host's own schedule says, and we do not stretch that to build profiles. If you need to know more, ask us at the address below and we will tell you what we can find out.

Two things travel in page addresses, so they can show up in the log. If someone shares a finder result or a comparison, the choices ride in the address (a story type, a heat level, two series numbers), and the log shows them when another reader opens that link. And if you press Enter in the search box, the words you typed go to our server as part of the results address. Choices you make on your own screen are otherwise not sent to anyone.

What happens to what I type into search and the finders?

Mostly it stays in your browser, with one exception. The instant results in the search box, the story finder, the comparison tool and the teaser finder work by downloading a public list of series, characters and pages to your device and matching your words against it there. What you type into them is not sent to us. Only the public list itself is requested, and that request appears in the ordinary server logs like any other file.

The exception is the full results page. If you press Enter in the search box, your browser asks our server for a results page, and your search words are part of that request. They reach our server and sit in the host's ordinary logs. We do not save them in the counting table or anywhere else, and we do not study them one by one.

What happens when I click through to Candy AI?

You leave our site and enter Candy AI's, and from that moment its policies apply to you. Our links to candy.ai carry a partner tag in the web address so that Candy AI's affiliate system can credit a visit to us. The tag names our site, not you, and the address also tells Candy AI that you arrived from here. Candy AI may keep its own record of the visit or place its own cookie for that purpose, which is its decision and covered by its rules.

We do not ask for, and do not intentionally receive, your Candy AI account, email address or payment details. Payments happen on candy.ai, and the bank statement lists the charge under the name "EverAI". What Candy AI's affiliate reports contain is up to Candy AI, and we use them to match our commissions. Candy AI's own legal pages are worth reading before you open an account: candy.ai/terms-of-service and candyshorts.com/legal-information. The legitimacy check covers billing, refunds and cancelling.

What happens to emails I send you?

We read them, answer them and keep them only as long as the matter needs. If you write to contact@candy-porn-shorts.com, we see your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use that to reply, to fix a mistake you reported or to handle a removal request. We may keep a note of corrections and rights-holder requests so that we can show what was done.

Please do not send card numbers, passwords or sexual images. If you do, we will delete the message and will not forward it. You can ask us to delete an email thread at any time. For problems with a Candy AI account or payment, email Candy AI's support desk instead. We have no access to it, and the contact page lists the details.

Do you sell or share my data?

We do not sell data, rent it out or trade it. Because our own counting holds nothing personal, there is nothing of that kind to sell. We pass information on only in a few narrow cases: to the hosting and email providers who keep the site and mailbox running, to authorities when a valid legal duty requires it, and to Candy AI when a request is about its own official content. We do not give anyone a reader list, because we do not have one.

How long is each thing kept?

Most items last only until you clear them, and none is kept longer than it is useful. The table shows each one.

ItemHow long
Daily view and click totalsAs long as they stay useful for running the site; they hold no personal data, so there is nothing to expire per person
18+ choice, Hot list, watched marksUntil you clear your site data
Button wording pickUntil you close the tab
Server logsFor the period the hosting provider applies to its logs
Emails to usFor as long as the matter needs, then deleted

What choices and rights do I have?

You can browse without leaving a trace on our side, and you can ask us about any email you sent. You can block scripts, browse in a private window or wipe your storage, and the site keeps working. Because the counting totals cannot identify anyone, we cannot look up "your" row, and we say so rather than pretend otherwise.

Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights to see, correct or delete personal data that an organization holds about you. If that applies to you and we hold something such as an email, write to us and we will deal with it. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live. We are not offering legal advice here, only describing what we do.

Who is this site for, and what about anyone under 18?

It is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we have no way to receive it, since there are no accounts or forms. If a message reaches us that appears to come from someone under 18, we will delete it and take no further use of it. Read more in our terms of use and our 2257 statement.

How will I hear about changes to this policy?

We move the effective date and the revised text replaces the old one. If we ever add a feature that stores or sends more than what is listed here, such as a new kind of counter, we will describe it on this page before it goes live. Until then, the table in the first section is the full list.

Questions go to contact@candy-porn-shorts.com. We answer in plain words and as quickly as we can, without promising a fixed deadline.

Privacy FAQ

Does candy-porn-shorts.com use cookies?

Not for readers. The counting of button views and clicks uses no cookies, and we run no ad or analytics trackers. Your choices are stored in the browser's localStorage and sessionStorage instead. Candy AI may set its own cookies once you click through to its site.

How do I clear my Hot list and the 18+ choice?

Open your browser's settings, find the site data for candy-porn-shorts.com and delete it. That removes the Hot list, the watched marks and the 18+ choice together, and the 18+ notice will appear again on your next visit. A private window keeps nothing after you close it.

Can Candy AI see my Hot list or watched marks?

No. Those lists live in your browser and are never sent to Candy AI or to us. Candy AI can only tell that you arrived from our link when you press a button, as the affiliate tag in the address reveals that much.

Do you track which series I look at?

We count how many times a button for a series is seen or pressed each day, with no way to tell who did it. We cannot tell which series you personally looked at, and your own history stays in your browser.

Who do I contact about my privacy?

Write to contact@candy-porn-shorts.com. For anything involving your Candy AI account, payments or tokens, contact Candy AI support instead; our legitimacy check lists the refund and cancel steps.
