The Candy Shorts cost to finish is 36 tokens for most public series. The formula is simple: tokens to finish equals paid episodes multiplied by the cost of one. Each public series opens with two episodes you never pay for, which leaves three paid ones in a five-episode run, and every regular paid episode on candy.ai is priced at 12 tokens. Three times 12 is 36, and, as of October 25, 2026, 114 of the 136 public series we cover land on exactly that number.

The other bills come from series length and from who stars. A six-, seven- or nine-episode series adds one, two or four more locked episodes. Finishing a 36-token series costs between $1.44 and $5.04 of Premium money, depending on your plan. Every Premium term brings 100 tokens each month, which means the plan you pick sets what a token costs you. Divide what you pay by the tokens it brings and you get the table below, built from the Oct 22, 2026 prices on candy.ai/subscriptions.

Read the table as a benchmark, not a quote. It prices a token at the rate you pay when the whole monthly allowance gets spent on episodes. Subscribe for a year and watch only three series and you still pay $47.88, so the real cost of a cheap series depends on using what you buy.

Per token the order is the same for every series: annual is cheapest, then quarterly, then the intro month, then the rolling month. The annual plan only wins if you stay the whole year, so a one-series crush is better served by the $9.99 intro month, which costs less in total than a $26.97 quarter, plus a quick cancel. Cancelling lives in your profile; scroll to the foot of Settings and you will find Unsubscribe. What you already paid for keeps working until the term ends.

How far do 100 monthly tokens go on the cheapest series?

One month of Premium tokens finishes two 36-token series and two episodes of a third. That is 72 tokens for the pair plus 24 for the partial, leaving 4 unspent. Premium Plus, which credits 330 tokens a month at a price only logged-in users can see, covers nine whole 36-token series for 324.

The whole 25-series list therefore costs 900 tokens. At the annual plan's 3.99¢ per token that is $35.91, at the quarterly plan's 8.99¢ it is $80.91, and at the rolling $13.99 month it is $125.91. Those sums only hold if every token goes to this list, but they show how cheap a heat-4 binge is compared with a 336-token marathon.

Because Premium credits tokens on a monthly cycle, order matters. Start with the series you want most, spend the month's 100 on it, and let the next drop fund the next one. The calculator on the pricing page does the same sums for any mix of series.

Which cheapest Candy Shorts are worth their 36 tokens?

The ones where the free episodes already show real heat. With 114 series sharing one bill, price cannot separate them, so I sorted the tie by our heat score. Among the 114, ten series score heat 4, ten score 3, 70 score 2 and 24 score 1 (October 25, 2026 count). This list takes every heat-4 and heat-3 series, then five of the boldest heat-2 picks.

A rough way to see value is to divide the bill by the heat score. Every Wife on Candy Lane works out at 9 per heat point, a heat-2 series at 18, and a heat-1 series at 36. A creator-twin series such as Student Bodies at heat 4 and 90 tokens comes to 22.5 per heat point, and Yes Ma'am at heat 2 and 336 tokens comes to 168. Nobody outside a paid account can say exactly, so I price the worst case. The legal page on candyshorts.com mentions an allowance of episodes and tokens bundled into the subscription, capped at a restricted amount, with the rest bought in tokens. The unlock prompt inside candy.ai, by contrast, advertises opening every premium episode. Each line is official wording, and I have not bought an account to test which one wins.

That is why every sum on this page counts tokens as if each locked episode were paid for one by one. If your membership opens some episodes at no token cost, your real bill is lower than the figures here. It cannot be higher, apart from any extra tokens you choose to buy.

Unused tokens are a second gray area: the terms say leftover tokens lapse when the paid period closes after cancelling, while a help-center article says cancelling does not delete them. The safe move is to spend the month's allowance before the period ends and never rely on carry-over.

Are the Spicy series cheaper or dearer to finish?

Unknown, because Candy AI hides the numbers from guests. The 12 Spicy series we cover live on a Premium-only shelf with a flame badge. Logged-out visitors see blurred posters and no synopsis, episode count or token price. Without a count and a price there is no honest bill to rank, so none of them appear on this page.
