The answer is an interview. Isabella is meeting Manalo, the musician and infamous rock star, at a hotel that night, and it is an assignment for her paper. Her mother sends her off with a blessing, telling her that God walks with her and always has. It is a lovely, tender goodbye, and it makes what follows land harder.

In the hotel, Manalo says she is a different case from the people who simply gawk. He sends her to wait while he finishes dressing, calls her journalist and then checks on her. Are you all right, journalist? He tells her that whatever she is feeling, she should give in to it and not fight it. Her reply closes the episode: get your hands off her, do not touch her.

Episode 2: the confession and the fragments

The second clip opens with Isabella asking for forgiveness. She admits that she let him touch her, that she knew it was wrong, and that she wanted it anyway. After the cornered woman of episode 1, that is a very different sentence, and it is the reason the series exists.
